To protect you as well as us, we have to recite a lot of legal stuff. But, before we get to that, here are the most important points summarized in simple language:

• Your privacy is never compromised by RATtrap, because RATtrap does not record any of your personal data or send it to the cloud. Our unique technology focuses primarily on identifying and blocking attempts by hackers to get into your computer system.
• By purchasing and activating a RATtrap, you will receive – FREE for the first year — the continuous, 24/7, Internet Threat Monitoring and Protection Service, which automatically sends hourly updates of newly discovered threats to your RATtrap.
• There are no long-term contracts. You may cancel the service at any time. After the first 12 months of free service, the monthly fee for the continuous, 24/7, Internet Threat Monitoring and Protection Service, will be only $9 per month. You may cancel the service at any time by simply sending an email to cancel@iotdef.com.
• If you choose to cancel the service, you may continue to use your RATtrap with all the threat intelligence data that has been accumulated in RATtrap up to that time. However, your RATtrap would then no longer be continuously updated with new threat detection data, nor will it be able to continue providing optional services like ad blocking or parental control.

Who May Use the Services

Eligibility

You may use the Services only if you are 13 years or older and are not barred from using the Services under applicable law.

Registration and your information

To use certain features of the Services you have to have an account with IoT Defense (“Account”). You hereby authorize us to retrieve and store your Account information as necessary to provide the Services to you.
